Manitham already Documented Child Labour in Sivakasi in Aug. 2008, which was also recorded with U Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zt6YLUnWCsc). Child Labour menace has increased now, comparing with Aug. 2010.
Chitra, a girl identified by Manitham, who affected while working in Cracker Factory in Sivakasi, was taking to hospital 5 times for plastic surgery and she can walk now. But two more operations has to be done to cure her. She is seeking sponsor from your persons.
Another girl, Muniswari, a child working in Match Factory, was also identified by Manitham during Aug. 2010 and she was put in School. now she is going to school regularly.
But 1,000s of boys and girls are still working as Child Labour in Sivakasi. Govt. has to take strong action to eradicate the menace.
